B2B Marketing Specialist

BlackBean Marketing is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist familiar with B2B marketing, SEO and SEM to join our small but mighty team in Kelowna. This full-time position will work closely with the Lead Strategist to implement client marketing strategies and achieve client KPIs. We’re seeking someone familiar with working in an agency or a marketing role in the industrial sector.

What you will do

  • Implement client B2B marketing strategies developed by the Lead Strategist.
  • Conduct SEO activities including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Manage campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads (rare, but it can happen), including keyword bidding, ad copy creation, and performance optimization.
  • Utilize CRO techniques to improve client website conversion rates.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns against client KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in B2B marketing, SEO, SEM, and CRO.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Write content for BlackBean and clients to help support content marketing efforts.

What you bring to the table

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Proven track record in SEO, SEM, and (bonus points) CRO.
  • Proficiency in marketing and SEO tools such as GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, Matomo
  • Experience with Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication, writing, creativity, and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence in managing client expectations
  • A B2B agency background is ideal, and experience in the industrial sector is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in an open, egalitarian, friendly, and hard-working environment where unsolicited facts and opinions about tennis, football, and hockey are often shared.
  • No certifications are required, but a proven track record is essential.

What we can do for you

  • Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year.
